Jason went to WSU

Jason took off to Washington State University this morning for their Camp Adventure Desserfest. I woke up at 4:00 am this morning, and we left around 4:45 to the Cedar Rapids's airport. On my way back, I was soooo tired. I almost fall asleep while I was driving. So, I've decided to skip my morning work, and sleep till noon... :P

After 5:00pm, I went home and met with Ruby, Semi and Winnie for tonight's dinner. We went to Bishop Buffet. 4 women become a "?" -- Don't have how to write the word!! haha....

Relaxing day!!

MayMay is being lazy on this Monday, coz I was too tired on Monday morning, plus I'd like to spend sometimes at home to clean up and study. Therefore, MayMay called in the office this morning and take a day off.... haha...

What a relaxing day!!! It is what I need!!!

Bridal Shower

This morning I wake up very early (for a Sunday morning, 8:30am is early!!!) to go to Cherie's Sullivan's Bridal Shower at 9:30am. It is a party before her Big Day!! I carpooled to the party with Angie. When we've arrived some people were there already.

We were talking, sharing stories and opening gifts. MayMay forgot to take a looot of pictures, coz it was too fun to talk... for got all about the camera.... hehe....
It was a fun morning... but because everyone were so tired from last night/this morning, so we all say goodbye at 11:30 am. MayMay, of course went to bed right after that, then WinWin and Semi came back from Church, they woke me up and we all went to lunch.

MayMay... of course still very very very tired !!! After lunch and this week's Walmart shopping, MayMay went to bed the rest of the day. ZZZzzzzz.

BIG DAY!!!

Today is a big day... not only for Camp Adventure, but also is Ah Kowk's body check day. Ruby, Semi, Ah Kowk & I went to the vet. clinic. Today is not only our busy day, also their too.... there are a lot of pets(most of them are dogs) were waiting to get to see the doctor.

After than, I continued yesterday's shopping, coz I still haven't got a gift for tomorrow's party. One of my friend is getting marry, and we had a wedding shower for her (a party before they get marry, it is a tradition for american). We are suppost to bring something naughty or nice.

When I got my shopping done, I went home and start getting ready for tonight's Dessertfest. Ruby, Semi, Lucy, Winnie, Jason and I were all dressing up so nice!!! Then we went to pick up Gary, Su and Miss Hao and went together!!

Afterward, we went to a little receiption 應酬, everyone can drink a little wine or eat a little something, then talk, share ideas, share life, and taking pictures. It was fun to see a lot of friends, and some new people. What a great night, we stayed till 1:30am and decided it was enough for the day.

Busy Friday

Today, everyone is very busy getting ready for tomorrow's DessertFest. Picking up rental cars/vans, and guests from different airports, getting the hall decorate and ready to go for tomorrow's show, and getting student to rehearsal.

MayMay also very busy today!!! After work, Ruby, Semi & I went to buy a gift for my Sunday party, looked for some new clothes (maybe) for tomorrow's DessertFest. But, all the sudden.... Jason called and said there is a guests dinner tonight.... O.... O.... we have to be there by 7:00pm in .... then our shopping have to cancel ...

I rushed home to drop off Ruby & Semi (R&S), changed, and drive back to CA Office. The dinner was great, it was in a very very nice restaurant. Dean Shirman & Dr. Martin (we went to Germany & England together few years ago), Sammy Spain, Courtland Butt (we worked together) were there at the dinner. I had so much fun talking with them, and we were laughing so hard. after the dinner me and Jason went back to see the last rehearsal in Lang Hall. Good Job Lucy & Winnie!!!

Lunch with Tammy

Tammy (we staied at her place came back when we were in Disney World) came to visit/work. We went to Peper and had lunch with Tammy today.

At night we had our family dinner (which means we cook for ourselves), coz we didn't have one last week. We had Salt Bake Chicken, asparagus 露旬, Corn Fish, and Chinese Soup. Thanks Lucy, Ruby and Winnie Cooking for us!!! (Even though we don't have enough rice... haha..)

O.... Forgot WinWin's Steak ar.... hehe... :P ... We all thinks that steak is the hardest thing to cook!!! WinWin... We'll keep trying until we are expert on it!!!

I had my 1st 2 classes tonight after the spring break. In my second class, professor returned us back our exams. And I think he lost my first exam... :(

After class, the whole "family" went to Cold Stone (a very good ice-cream store) to celebrate Ruby's & Semi's seccess on their defend. Congratulations to Ruby & Semi !!! Yumy Yumy!! I had a "Berry Berry Berry Good" ice-cream, it matched my shirt color too .. :p. As usual, Ruby and Semi took the longest time to pick our their best ice-cream... hehe...

Dinner with an Olympic Coach!!!

Today, Jason, WinWin, and I got invited to a dinner, because we have 2 guests visiting at our school. the guests are John Peng (he is a former weight lifting Olympian, and weight lifting Olympian's Coach) and his wife. We went to the best Chinese resturant (just because the owner is willing to cook special chinese food for us) in Waterloo, and there are 5 or 6 more faculties were here too.

It's was a fun dinner, John told us how they pick out the future Olympians when they were only primary school (12-13 years old). China has the best weight lifting record -- I didn't know that, I've learned something new tonight.

DessertFest Rehearsal

Today I came home very late (10:00pm) ... because Jason and I went to the desserfest rehearsal tonight. This coming Sat. is our Camp Adventure's big day - dessertfest. All of the Camp Adventure students, and their parent will come and join us for the students' performent and desserts. There will be singing, dancing, drama and much more etc. It's our yearly events.

So fun to sing with them, watch them dance, and rehear their line up. I was sitting with Jason, Shawn, and Garey (all Camp Adventure Staffs), and we all sing with them, watch them dance, and practice (O... did I tell you WinWin and Lucy are Camp Adventure Student).. WinWin was so tired, and she thinks that her hands and legs are not hers.... hehe... afterward, we all felt very hungry, rush home and eat.... haha...

Semi is going to do defend tomorrow... Good Luck!!!

New Computer

It is a very exciting night... because MayMay got a new computer at work. It's a Mac G5 with dual monitor. The Mac G5 desktop is very huge and heavy, I can't even pick it up. Yeah Yeah Yeah... thanks JayJay and Shawn for helping to set up my computer!!!

Dinner Together

Tonight we have dinner together again!!! I really like to have dinner with you all, it feels like we are one big family.

Tonight we had my dad's style chicken wings, Chinese mushroom & "tree ear - 木耳", Ruby & Semi's vegei & WinWin's favorite Chinese style soup. Yum Yum.... After that, we have honey dew for our dessert.

This spring, everyone seems to be very busy... but tomorrow is Friday... time to relax... can't wait!!!

Finally finished Harry Potter

Today I've finished the Harry Potter 6 book!!! I can return the book to Gary... and I'm sure you want to read the English version. It's a very good book, and I really like the book except Dumbledore is dead. I can't wait to read the seventh book of Harry Potter. I want to know the finally battle between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

Let me answerJenny's question first, the flower and the chair are still fine, and standing straight.... haha... Here are their pictures.

Today is Saturday, Semi, Ruby, Jason were trying to decide where to go for lunch, and Semi has suggested to eat in Perkin. So Jason drove us to Perkin, and all the sudden Semi said "O... did I say Perkin? ... I actually mean Pepers". Haha.... so we drove to Pepers.... haha...

After lunch, we went to shopping... didn't buy much stuff... only bought a cup of Starbuck coffee (white chocolate mocha).... very tasty... I think winwin will like it a lot.

Spring Break!!!

Thanks God It's Friday!!! Wow.... next week is our school's spring break... but I still need to work everyday... only no classes... hehe.........

Tonight we wanted to go to Old Country Buffet, however, it got shut down. So sad... it's one of our favorite restaurant. Then we went to Bishop (another buffet restaurant) Because Lucy won on her (古箏) instrument competition, and get big bucks$$,
therefore, she pay for all of our meals.... thanks Lucy!!! hehe... look at us and all the food that are on the table!!! Yum Yum!!

Then we went to BestBuy (an electronic shop) to shop, Jason bought a keyborad, and WinWin bought some CDs.

After BestBuy, we then went to WalMart (our everyweek shopping place).

Chronicles of Nania

Because I was very busy lately, therefore, I didn't post anything... :P (Sorry...I'm back now) plus, WinWin was asking me where is my new post.... so here I come!!!

Ruby, Semi, Gary, Jason, and I went to see the Chronicles of Nania movie tonight!!! Even though it is a children moive, but I like it a lot. (I wanted to watch it for so long... now my dream come true... :D) The story is about four brothers and sisters they went to the Nania Kingdom, and help them fight the bad person and give peace to them. A lot of time, we don't know what we can do until we really did it. I really really like this moive, and also would recommend all of you to watch it.
