Thank You Thank You!!

Finally, back to my blog!!! Thanks for all my lovely roommates' help while I was back in Hong Kong. It was a very short trip, only 4 days of staying, but everything is fine now. Flying is not that fun, I can tell you!!!

After coming back to the US, we had a BBQ at Paul's house, lunch for Lucy's b-day, and of course a lot of work.

Counting the days to final -- is less than a week, counting the days Ruby and Semi going back -- less than 2 weeks / less than 6 days, because of their trip, counting the days Lucy is moving out -- 1-2 week(s). We had a lot of fun living together, cooking, shopping, watching movie, making dessert, traveling etc. I will miss you all very very much... T_T

Today is Dr.E's 60th B-day. We all went to the WRC to suprise him, and celebrate it with him. Happy Birthday!!!

I'm soooo tired today, because I've just finished a presentation, a paper, and an exam. Boy, what a day!! I'm still thinking to finish reading my book "the Five people you Meet in Heaven" today. It is a very interesting book... I highly recommend it.

Dr. John Nash Speech

Tonight, we have a guess speaker - John Nash - came to our school, and gave a speech. Of course, MayMay won't miss this big event!!! John Nash - from "the beautiful mind" also the 1994 winner of Nobel Prize, is giving a speech on a particular aspect of game theory.

It was a very good oppertunity to listen to his speech today even though I don't really understand his whole theory. In this 2 hours, Dr. Nash was showing us how 3 players correclate to each other. It was a very good experience for me to be there, and have a chance to listen to him.

Classes registration

MayMay registered 2 classes for next fall semester today. I was thinking of 3 clases, but since working full time, I don't want to be studying for full time again.... Next semester MayMay is going to take Human Diseases, and Implementing Public Health and Health Promotion Programs. I hope they will be fun to take!!!

MayMay is reading a book call "The Five People You Meet in Heaven", a very good book. I'm only half way done, but each person Eddie is meeting teach him 1 thing. Things that he wouldn't think of when he was still alive. The book also show that each of us are connected to the others. What we do is affected the others, not only ourselves. WinWin are you going to read this book after I'm done?!

Lucy's 古箏 perferment

One of my professor (Tom Davis) is out of town, therefore, I don't have 2 night classes today... haha.... But when I'm thinking about next Wednesday, I have a presentation, a paper & an exam to do.... O.... I should get it start soon.... add oil ar MayMay!!!

Because I didn't need to go to my night class tonight... I can go to Lucy's 古箏 perferment tonight. She won the music contest, and tonight is her perferment and award night. Semi, Ruby, Jason and I went to support her!! (WinWin still have class tonight, so she can't go tonight. ). Lucy play very good.... she is the best!!!

Shopping and Airport Day

We've decided to go to Iowa City to do some shopping today. This morning, Ah Kwok was peeing in my room after he took the pills from the doctor. I have to clean it up and washing the carpet.... therefore, we left home late.... Thanks Ruby for the delicious breakfast.

We went to the outlet mall in Williamsburg, and shop for 4 hours. We've spent most of our time in a beauty store. Not to mention how crazy WinWin and Ruby were.... buying all these things..... hehe..... Then we went to the Crossroad Mall in Iowa City. There were some bad news coming (There is a Tornado touch down from an hour away), but WinWin, Ruby, and Semi doesn't care... still keep shopping, and trying clothes on...... not to mention that the store has put the gate down already.

But good news was the tornado was gone after they've done with the shop. o... what's a day... I was worried where to hide... what a good news.

So, we followed our plan, and went to a Korean restaurant... spent 2 hours there, and then went to the airport to pick up Jason. Jason's flight is delayed for more than an hour, and WinWin was falling asleep in the airport. After Jason is arrived home, it's 1:30 already!!! What a day!!!

A Special Day!!!

Today is a very special day... 6 years anniversary of being together!!! Happy Anniversary to JayJay!!!

I had lunch with Ruby, Semi and Lucy in the Gloom Factory (an other romantic restaurant by the river side). They seem to like it very much... they said they want to go back there again!!! Too bad we didn't have a camera with us...

After came back home, I've received roses from JayJay...so beautiful !!! Thank you... even though you cannot be here.... but you are very sweet and you will always in my heart!!! But JayJay... next time remember 11 roses...:p!!! hehe...
